Definitions
Adaptation- an adaptation is a trait that makes an organism suited to its habitat.
Camouflage – Camouflage is when colours, patterns, shapes and texture help animals to blend in with their surroundings
Hibernation/Hibernate- to pass the winter in a sleeping or resting state
Migration- a regular journey made by an animal
Structural adaptation- Structural adaptations are the physical features of an organism that assist in its survival.
Behavioural adaptation-are the actions that animals take to survive - the behaviours they display eg Migration and moving in a herd are both examples of behavioral adaptation.
